Polish Skyrim: Tainted Grail Sales and Twitch Impact

Tainted Grail Early Sales on Release

Polskiego Skyrima, The Polish Skyrim has arrived to shake up Video Games

Poland has shown itself to be a powerhouse in the making of video games with the release of the RPG, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon initial sales

The Arthurian Dark Fantasy game has been released to the world, and it has some impressive sales. The stats that I have put on the top of this blog post show the estimations of how many sales the game currently has right now.

According to the most estimates, it should be at about 150,000 copies sold already which is great for a game of this size.

The game has barely been out and is currently sitting at a healthy review ratio of very positive on Steam. The game is currently sitting at 84% on Steam, which is very positive.

The recent reviews, which represent the reviews relating to Version 1.0, have been also consistent with the early access reviews.

What is important is that the game is getting attention by streamers on Twitch and YouTubers and that will help this game in the sales.

The player count right now is about 12,000 players. I would expect that Tainted Grail is going to be getting more players in the future and it is not going stagnate.

Tainted Grail and Twitch performance

Tainted Grail Twitch Stream Players

In the mid afternoon on release, the Twitch numbers are good for a independent title such as this.

Many of the players are a great of mix of Americans, British and Eastern Europeans. There is quite a few of people who are Polish and enjoying that their country had made another great video game in the style of the Witcher.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon and the synergy with Oblivion Remastered Edition.

Above is a beautiful image of the sunlight in the Oblivion Remaster. While I have some issues with the graphic style, the remaster is a remarkable achievement and brings Oblivion out of the shadows of Skyrim’s dominance in the memory of gamers.

However, Oblivion Remaster’s success is not just about the game alone but also about its contemporary titles. While Oblivion Remaster is an uplift of an old game, it is having a true effect on the market and other games. More specifically, one of those games is Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. With its release this week on May 23rd, 2025, it will be interesting to see whether Oblivion managed to increase interest in RPGs of this type. Oblivion and Tainted Grail are quite similar with one another though they have differences. However, the similarities are stronger and I hope to see how Tainted Grail performs after its release.

The Imperial City in Oblivion Remastered Edition

The most interesting city for me in Oblivion was the Imperial City. In comparison to the other cities in the game, this was the one that had the most NPCs. When I played the original game, this was the place that I had the most interest in because of how many people were walking in the streets.

Oblivion’s Sparse Streets Have Charm in 2025.

While the streets may seem sparse now, many games are not capable of having NPC schedules or having them engage in dialogue with other NPCs. In 2006, when Oblivion was originally released, there were not many such games. Only Rockstar and a couple other developers in the gaming industry had the resources and skills to make living, breathing worlds that made you feel like you were there.

That is what is missing in modern games, that sense of immersion.

That immersion is incredibly important in making you want to stay and play a game. When you have games like Avowed which are basically even worse in immersion than Morrowind, it shows that the industry is stagnant and focusing on old glories.

That is why I think Oblivion is so popular right now.

So many games have been disappointments and promise the world but only give us a puddle to go through.

Oblivion simply gives us what we want with competency with soul and heart.

That is why the game has helped to revive this classic game.
